VISIONARY EXECUTIVE (2018-19)

The Fourth Executive of the VUW Politics Society, sometimes known as the Visionary Exec, was elected on the 5th of April 2018 and disbanded on the 12th of April 2019. It was notable for diversity, and was lead by the society’s first woman President. It was forward looking, and helped develop the financial sustainability of the society. In addition to classic events like drinks with politicians, stand outs included the Pride in Politics collaboration with Uni-Q, as well as the first ever Politics Week organised by the society, which included round table discussions, a quiz night, Youth Wing Debate, Women in Politics Panel and an AGM.

RENAISSANCE EXECUTIVE (2017-18)

Third Executive Committee of the VUW Politics Society, sometimes known as the Renaissance Exec was elected during the societies first general election season on the 6th of April 2017 and disbanded on the 5th of April 2018. Rostra and PAV Subcommittees continue to grow and develop. A wide range of events were organised throughout, with Standouts included the Wellington Electorate Debate, Youth Wing Debate, Women in Politics Panel, and the Drinks with a Politician series. For it's efforts during 2017, PolSoc was runner up for Supreme Club of the year at the VUWSA Supreme Club Awards.

REFORMATION EXECUTIVE (2016-17)

The Second Executive Committee of the VUW Politics Society sometimes known as the Reformation Exec, was elected in May 2016 and disbanded on the 6th of April 2017. It is most notable for it's constitutional reforms, approving the Rostra and PAV Subcommittees, bringing back the PolSoc website, securing discounts for Society cardholders, it's Brexit Panel Discussion, Mayoralty debate and the Drinks with a Politician speaker series.
